The great challenge of Kepown is to organize all the memories of communities around the world so they may be passed on to future generations.
Vision
Kepown is a global digital platform that uses digital writing to tells stories about who we have been, who we are, and who we will become. Instants in the life of one person become instants in the life of someone else. They weave together a plot of human values and lives, a plot that won’t be forgotten.
Weaving the great net of human existence is a duty; doing it through writing is a pleasure.
The memories and stories of Kepowners will rewrite communities all over the world.
Kepowners have the chance to trace their memories in space, geo-localizing their chapters, as well as trace them in time, assigning each chapter with an exact date for the story, creating the largest digital network of true stories.
Thanks to the “community” filter, all the stories that belong to the same community can be gathered together, making it possible to find your human roots.

Kepown believes in diversity and celebrates everyone’s creativity: there are no limits or barriers.
That’s why Kepown has been designed with an ecosystem in mind where everyone who wants to write co-creates.
Kepowners share a desire to tell the story of their life, their family, their passions, or simply anecdotes from their childhood, whether just for the sake of it, or to pass those memories on to someone else.
In the Kepown world, many Kepowners coexist; each has their own style, both in life and in writing.
There are Kepowners who want to deliver a precise message in very few lines. Others wish to write endless memories, so that those memories stay vital, and live through time. They may wish to hide something among their words, something they never told someone special.
Kepowners are different and equal at the same time: they are different in their style, but equal in their desire to tell stories.
But there are also Kepowners who choose not to tell their life story to anyone: who keep their memories in a safe, secret drawer. Maybe that story is a simple journey, but it holds the whole meaning of their existence.

Kewriter – the Kepown writer
You become a Kepowner once you register on the platform, then it’s up to you to decide whether to publish your pages immediately, or save them to publish later.
Your Kebook will be written all over the world
In case you decide to make your chapters private, readers will have to ask you for “permission to read”. You will receive a notification when this happens, and the request will be visible in the “Kepown Café” area. You can then choose whether to accept the request and allow the Kepowner access to your stories.
Whatever the language you choose to write in, whether it’s your mother tongue or not, you pcan ublish your Kebook in any language you want, with the help of the Kepown translation team.
Kereader – the Kepown reader
By registering on the Kepown platform, you'll be able to read all the Kebooks you want.
You'll be able to browse through the memories of other writers, reading their stories and essays, and losing yourself in someone else’s innermost thoughts. You can also comment on other Kebooks, or parts of them.
But most of all, you'll be able to interact directly with other writers in the Kepown world.
With access to plenty of digital content, including images and Audio-Kebooks, you’ll experience an immersive reading experience
You’ll be able to choose the best stories. You may even make a writer famous with your appreciation. Everyone’s opinion matters on Kepown.
You’re not 'just a reader' on Kepown; some read with curiosity, others read closely, intimately …
The curious reader
The curious reader generally reads the preface of a story and the abstract, then decides whether they would like to read the rest. Not all stories are public though, or accessible to all Kepowners. The curious reader may, however, turn into an “intimate” reader.
The intimate reader
The decision of whether to keep a Kebook secret (or just a few chapters) is each writer’s to make when they publish their work, chapter by chapter. The “curious” reader becomes “intimate” when they ask for a “permission to read” these secret chapters to access private content.
