This is food for thought. The large Kepown community opens its doors to everyone which means it’s appropriate to provide a few suggestions on how to create and maintain an inclusive space, which is respectful and pleasant for everyone.
Advice for a better digital world
Please create a respectful username, making sure it’s not hateful, offensive or harmful.
Always make sure to respect and protect the feelings of other Kepowners, and respect their comments, personalities, belongings and the personal information they provide.
Never publish anything you could regret in the future. Remember that everything you leave on Kepown will be there for a long time (unless you decide otherwise).
Be respectful of anyone you mention in your Kebooks.
Other people may have different views on the publication of their personal informationl make sure that what you write and publish respects everybody’s wishes.

Interaction with other Kepowners
It is a golden rule not to use offensive language. Kepowners may interact with any other Kepowner and be very much involved in all the public spaces of the platform, provided they do it in an inoffensive, non-discriminatory fashion and do not harass anyone.
Kepown advice: write what you liked about someone else’s story, instead of belittling the parts you didn’t like!
One of the secrets to maintaining good relations with other Kepowners is mutual respect and using restrained and pleasant language.
This is a must in order to keep the Kepown ecosystem fair and intact.
Remmeber that your words could be damaging, discriminatory, or even offensive and violate our Code of Conduc.
Comments and feedback
Respect everyone: respect them as they respect you. Kepown is a global community with different opinions and values; its members come from all over the world.
Positive and productive interaction is welcome, provided comments are made in a respectful way and without prejudice to anyone’s image or harm to their psychological integrity.
You may disagree with comments you read, or read content you don’t like or aren’t familiar with, but Kepown celebrates everyone’s diversity and creativity: we encourage expression and freedom of thought and promote an unified and respectful digital community. Sometimes it’s better not to comment than to risk offending someone.
Respect towards everyone, both writers and readers, is a must.

If ever you feel you acted offensively, it’s always best to apologize.
Misconduct may, however, be censured, within the time and in the manner decided by the Kepown team.

Misconduct
Be very careful about actions that may be harmful to others, whether to their reputation, their physical wellbeing or their psychological integrity.
Actions that are considered as misconduct and which are absolutely not allowed within the Kepown platform include:
- putting a user or anyone in general at risk.
- disclosing personal information about somebody other than yourself, or information that identifies someone else.
- sharing photos from, the name, address, email address, telephone number of, Kepown private messages from, or any other private information belonging to other Kepown users, or anyone else, unless they have given you explicit permission to do so.
- material in your Kebook that is too explicit and therefore infringes on third parties’ rights or is likely to upset other Kepowners.

Kepown is not the right place to sponsor or sell products or services, so please don’t do it. Spam is not allowed on Kepown.

Finally, we want Kepown to be a positive experience, made special by people who have different ways of looking at the world and but who are joined together by a strong sense of community.
